The New 2015 Buick Enclave Is On My Radar
The new Buick Enclave is on my radar as well as at the top of my list of must haves in 2015. As a previous Buick owner I love the dependability that Buick is known for. In 2006 while 8 months pregnant I totaled my vehicle, luckily neither one of us (my baby and I) were injured. However my vehicle was totaled after simply driving over a speed hump that actually came to a point at the very top (of it). Now I know it seems pretty odd that a speed hump could total a vehicle however uptown DC was filled with speed humps in various neighborhoods to deter speeders from flying through residential neighborhoods. My speed was less than 10 mph however my vehicle actually slammed on the pavement after driving over the hump thus causing my oil pan to crack. Needless to say I had to purchase another vehicle.
Luckily, I had built a great relationship with a car dealer whom I had purchased from in the past and felt comfortable enough to trust that he would ensure that my next vehicle would serve me for many years to come. As I waddled into the dealership out of the scorching hot 96 degree sun I was immediately greeted and taken away to one of the offices to discuss my needs for my new vehicle. After taking a seat I immediately informed the manager that I was not interested in haggling and that I required a vehicle that would be safe for my family, reliable, cost effective, great on gas, not a high theft vehicle and most importantly safe. I guess the dealer could see that I was about business so he immediately printed an inventory list and we both looked over what was available. His first selection for me was not a good match however the second was perfect! He selected the 2006 Buick Lacrosse CX. With only one owner and less than 18,000 miles I was sold. I purchased this vehicle site unseen, reviewed the accident reports as there were none and he immediately proceeded to have the vehicle detailed for me as I waited. I completed my pre-approval through my bank making this transaction amazingly smooth and which in turn exceeded my expectations.
Up until this point I was use to buying cash cars. Cash cars refers to vehicles that you will pay less than about $4000 for and simply drive until the wheels fall off. Thus removing monthly car payments, inflated insurance (as you only need to have liability) and little worry about damage or theft as the vehicles are generally older models and not as desirable. However, due to my husband and I expecting our first child my mindset hand changed, thank God! That Buick that I purchased in 2006 has lasted me up until now (2015) and is still going strong. My only issue now is that my kids are little giants as mom and dad are both over 6 feet tall. We simply need more space.
Our lifestyle involves many road trips as we like to explore areas near and far. Last summer our kids saw a cartoon where the family drove cross country on a road trip and so they of course wanted to do the same. One week later we packed up a rental mini van and drove from DC to California. Three amazing days of sight seeing, diner eating, people meeting fun! The trip was awesome to say the least and we enjoyed every moment of our time together. That trip makes us want to enjoy the open road even more often and this is a large reason why we need a larger vehicle. After test driving the Buick Enclave I immediately fell in love. This vehicle has every feature that our family loves. Three row seating, ample space, extra charging ports for our devices, hidden compartments for added storage, great on gas/mileage, a sleek look and many other bells and whistles. While I have never looked forward to being a soccer mom with a van this crossover vehicle will allow me to have all of the benefits of having a mini van all rolled up into a luxury vehicle! Thus making it perfect for date night with my hubby. I couldn’t ask for anything more! I am looking forward to going to pick up our new family vehicle.
I must mention the 2015 Buick Enclave is ranked #3 (surpassed only by larger gas guzzling vehicles Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon) in Affordable Large SUV’s. One of the main features that I love regarding the Enclave is that I have all of the space of the larger vehicles while saving a lot of money on the gas and mileage. The Buick Enclave packs a lot into a smaller space than its competitors. If you haven’t checked out the new Buick Enclave, click the link below to find out more.
My only question now is which color to get? Thanks for stopping buy. Leave a comment below.
